The watched feeling. LII's leading function presses on IEE's vulnerable slot — continuously, without effort and without malice. Supervision has a direction; this page reads LII → IEE.
▸ New to socionics? The 90-second primer
Socionics builds types from eight information elements (Ne, Si, Ti, Fe…) placed into eight fixed slots — the slot decides how the element behaves in you.
The three-letter code (IEE) names the top two slots. It looks like an MBTI type; it doesn't convert cleanly — which is the kind of disagreement this site exists to measure.
Want the fuller version? The basics page covers elements, functions, quadras, and the two models.
| element | in IEE | in LII | what happens |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ne | base (1) | creative (2) | IEE lives here; LII visits, skillfully |
| Fi | creative (2) | role (3) | IEE's craft is LII's obligation |
| Se | role (3) | vulnerable (4) | IEE's chore lands on LII's bruise |
| Ti | vulnerable (4) | base (1) | LII leads with IEE's sore spot — pressure from above |
| Si | suggestive (5) | mobilizing (6) | both want it; neither has it |
| Te | mobilizing (6) | ignoring (7) | LII has it and won't perform it; IEE wanted the performance |
| Ni | ignoring (7) | demonstrative (8) | strong meets strong; neither shows it off |
| Fe | demonstrative (8) | suggestive (5) | IEE covers it in passing; LII feeds quietly |
slots, in one line: base & creative = native strengths · role = performed on demand · vulnerable = the sore spot · suggestive & mobilizing = what's wanted from others · ignoring & demonstrative = strong but not valued. Full definitions on each type page.
Where it clicks
- IEE finds LII substantial — the pressure reads as depth, at first.
- LII finds IEE interesting: receptive, a little opaque, worth correcting.
- In small structured doses — mentorship with exits — the transfer is real.
Where it grinds
- IEE can never quite answer back; replies land beside the point, and both notice.
- LII doesn't feel the pressing, so requests to stop read as oversensitivity.
- It escalates with closeness. The classical advice is distance, and it's right.
MODEL A Intertype relations are classical canon — this page is Model A ground. MODEL G keeps the frame but weights temperament and communication energy differently; where that changes a reading, we say so. Nothing here is invented to manufacture a disagreement. method →
