Where it clicks
- SLI finds ESE substantial — the pressure reads as depth, at first.
- ESE finds SLI interesting: receptive, a little opaque, worth correcting.
- In small structured doses — mentorship with exits — the transfer is real.
Where it grinds
- SLI can never quite answer back; replies land beside the point, and both notice.
- ESE doesn't feel the pressing, so requests to stop read as oversensitivity.
- It escalates with closeness. The classical advice is distance, and it's right.
