Where it clicks
- Arguments here get settled by results and sources, the LSE's base Te against the ILI's creative Te. The report gets read. The citation gets checked. Only then does anyone raise a voice.
- Under the LSE's creative Si, the furnace works and the meals come on time. The coat the ILI refused to buy appears in the hallway anyway. The ILI's physical plant improves under management.
- Don't renew that contract, the sector is turning: the ILI makes trend calls like this a few times a year. They've saved the LSE real money. The LSE verified the first two and now schedules around them.
- Loyalty in this pair is assumed, not performed — Fi suggestive on one side, mobilizing on the other. Neither of them demands scenes. Both find the absence of scenes restful.
- Nobody in this house inflates anything. Plans come with numbers and dates attached. Praise is rare and therefore correctly priced. Criticism passes between the two of them as information, not theater.
Where it grinds
- This will matter in six years, though it's hard to say how, says the ILI's base Ni. The LSE's vulnerable slot gets nothing to schedule. So the LSE demands a date, and gets a refusal delivered on principle.
- The ILI counsels delay — on the extension, the hire, the purchase. The LSE is built for throughput. Being told to wait feels like having the machine switched off by someone who's smiling faintly.
- The ILI's creative Te audits direction, not effort. You optimized the wrong process. For the LSE, whose base Te is the effort, praise never comes for the part that cost the most.
- To the ILI, the LSE's constant improvements to the house and the calendar read as motion without a thesis. To the LSE, the ILI's stillness reads as a stalled project wearing a bathrobe. Neither reading softens with exposure.
- Their vacation compromise is an itinerary with mandatory relaxation blocks. The LSE planned it. The ILI predicted it. Neither enjoys it. The prediction gets mentioned exactly once, quietly, on the drive home.
