IEI ↔ EIE MODEL A
Mirror

Same book, opposite emphasis. Base and creative swap places: identical interests approached with reversed seriousness. Each treats as craft what the other treats as calling.

▸ New to socionics? The 90-second primer

Socionics builds types from eight information elements (Ne, Si, Ti, Fe…) placed into eight fixed slots — the slot decides how the element behaves in you.

The three-letter code (IEI) names the top two slots. It looks like an MBTI type; it doesn't convert cleanly — which is the kind of disagreement this site exists to measure.

Want the fuller version? The basics page covers elements, functions, quadras, and the two models.

§1 HOW THE STACKS COLLIDE — unique to this pair
elementin IEIin EIEwhat happens
Nibase (1)creative (2)IEI lives here; EIE visits, skillfully
Fecreative (2)base (1)EIE lives where IEI improvises
Sirole (3)vulnerable (4)IEI's chore lands on EIE's bruise
Tevulnerable (4)role (3)IEI's bruise, EIE's chore — mutual flinching
Sesuggestive (5)mobilizing (6)both want it; neither has it
Timobilizing (6)suggestive (5)both want it; neither has it
Neignoring (7)demonstrative (8)strong meets strong; neither shows it off
Fidemonstrative (8)ignoring (7)neither values it; both have it

slots, in one line: base & creative = native strengths · role = performed on demand · vulnerable = the sore spot · suggestive & mobilizing = what's wanted from others · ignoring & demonstrative = strong but not valued. Full definitions on each type page.

§2 IN PRACTICE

Where it clicks

  1. Real collaboration: each edits the half the other under-weights.
  2. Mutual correction actually improves the work.
  3. No topic mismatch, ever — the library is shared.

Where it grinds

  1. Permanent low-grade editing of each other's tone.
  2. Disputes about emphasis that feel like disputes about truth.
  3. Each finds the other slightly too much and slightly too little, simultaneously.
§3 DO THE SCHOOLS AGREE HERE?

MODEL A Intertype relations are classical canon — this page is Model A ground. MODEL G keeps the frame but weights temperament and communication energy differently; where that changes a reading, we say so. Nothing here is invented to manufacture a disagreement. method →
