Socionics builds types from eight information elements (Ne, Si, Ti, Fe…) placed into eight fixed slots — the slot decides how the element behaves in you.
The three-letter code (ILE) names the top two slots. It looks like an MBTI type; it doesn't convert cleanly — which is the kind of disagreement this site exists to measure.

Where it clicks
- Division of labor without negotiation — each covers what the other doesn't notice needs covering.
- Rest works: one side maintains what the other forgets exists.
- Help arrives in the register each actually wants — on request, without performance.
Where it grinds
- Dull at first. Duals rarely impress each other at a distance; the payoff is in shared logistics, not sparks.
- Each initially reads the other's strengths as unremarkable — they cover what you never valued.
