LIE and LII: extinguishment
LIE and LII care about the same things from opposite directions. Extinguishment pairs identical elements with every attitude flipped, so LII and LIE agree in principle and undo each other in execution. The compatibility works in small, spaced doses and not much beyond them.

§2 In practice
Where it clicks
- Every build gets two inspections. The LII proves the plan is internally sound from base Ti. The LIE, whose Te lands on the LII's strong ignoring slot, checks whether it pays. Errors get caught from both ends, and nobody has to convene anything.
- The LII's creative Ne lands in the LIE's demonstrative slot. Alternatives volley back and forth at full speed, nobody claiming credit. Twenty minutes of trading options costs neither of them anything and usually yields one keeper.
- The LIE's timeline bets get a quiet audit from the LII's unclaimed long view. Demonstrative Ni offers a low-key correction: that step lands in March, not January. It's right often enough that the LIE has learned to pause on it.
- They don't perform sociability at each other. An evening together means two laptops, one pot of coffee, and four hours of silence broken only by findings. Both of them count that as a good evening.
- Money work splits cleanly between them. The LIE runs the positions and the timing; the LII audits the reasoning for hidden contradictions. Each finds the other's half of the job tedious, which is exactly why the split works.
Where it grinds
- The LIE likes pressure and assumes it motivates everyone. So they announce a hard deadline with the stakes raised — mobilizing Se at full appetite. Se happens to be the LII's vulnerable slot. The LII complies on the spot and is useless for the next two days.
- The LII suggests regular meals and an earlier night, and means it kindly — mobilizing Si. The LIE, vulnerable there of all places, hears an indictment of how they live. Lunch gets skipped on principle for a week.
- A clean framework is the LII's identity, and it sits in the LIE's ignoring slot. So a month of the LII's work gets its entire review: fine, but does it ship. The verdict arrives while the LIE is already walking somewhere else.
- Run it in reverse and the LIE's revenue benchmarks meet the LII's backgrounded Te, where the reply is that the metric measures the wrong thing. At home that's a debate. In front of the LIE's investors, it's expensive.
- Their joint venture gets sold before it gets defined. The LIE has announced it publicly, recruited two people, and booked a call while the LII is still numbering the assumptions. Both versions of the project exist. Neither survives the other.
