LIE and EII get duality's opening without its follow-through. Semi-duality covers the lead functions exactly and leaves the support functions crossed, so help between EII and LIE arrives in the wrong shape at the worst moment. Where it clicks
- Which insurance, which train, which offer: the LIE answers in one text what the EII would deliberate over for two weeks. Suggestive Te receives the directive as relief. The LIE, for once, gets thanked for being blunt.
- The EII's quiet verdicts on character — he is not honest with you — are the one input the LIE takes without requesting data. Suggestive Fi means the vetting of partners and hires is outsourced entirely, and the outsourcing pays.
- Anniversaries pass without speeches. The LIE's role Fe and the EII's ignoring Fe agree the real gift is the fixed gutter and the paid-off loan. Both keep Te-Fi books, where devotion is an act, not an announcement.
- The LIE's five-year bets frighten most partners. The EII's demonstrative Ni has usually imagined further out than the pitch deck, so the EII signs on to ambitions other households would veto by reflex.
- If the EII says a junior has real potential, the LIE hires on that one sentence. Creative Ne landing on demonstrative Ne means the assessment gets checked instantly, believed, and acted on within the week.
Where it grinds
- The LIE coaches assertiveness, and mobilizing Se enjoys the drill: walk in, demand the raise. The EII complies once and executes badly, and vulnerable Se carries the scene around for a month. The LIE schedules a follow-up push.
- The EII notices the LIE running on coffee and nerve, but mobilizing Si only manages a gentle question with no force behind it. The LIE's vulnerable Si overrides the body until it quits. Then the EII is nursing a patient who resents being one.
- A wronged EII receives the LIE's campaign: timelines, leverage, when to move. The EII's demonstrative Ni had already seen the whole arc. What the EII wanted was the evening off, tea, and the door closed — nothing strategic.
- For a stalled LIE, the EII earnestly offers creative-Ne possibilities: other markets, other applications. The LIE's demonstrative Ne already holds a longer list. The question that actually mattered was Fi-shaped: which of the partners is lying.
- On Saturdays they part ways along quadra lines. The LIE deploys the day: site visit, networking lunch, gym at seven. The EII wanted unhurried Si-Ne nothing behind a closed door. They alternate weekends and call the arithmetic balance.
