▸ New to socionics? The 90-second primer

Socionics builds types from eight information elements (Ne, Si, Ti, Fe…) placed into eight fixed slots — the slot decides how the element behaves in you.

The three-letter code (LSI) names the top two slots. It looks like an MBTI type; it doesn't convert cleanly — which is the kind of disagreement this site exists to measure.

Want the fuller version? The basics page covers elements, functions, quadras, and the two models.

§1 HOW THE STACKS COLLIDE — unique to this pair
elementin LSIin ESIwhat happens
Tibase (1)role (3)LSI's native tongue is ESI's rehearsed second language
Secreative (2)creative (2)both improvise here — playful, quietly competitive
Firole (3)base (1)LSI performs what ESI simply is
Nevulnerable (4)vulnerable (4)shared blind spot: nobody is covering this
Fesuggestive (5)ignoring (7)ESI has plenty and won't make a show of it — quiet supply
Nimobilizing (6)mobilizing (6)shared aspiration, shared shortfall
Teignoring (7)suggestive (5)LSI could supply it, and declines to perform it
Sidemonstrative (8)demonstrative (8)both cover it absently — silent redundancy

slots, in one line: base & creative = native strengths · role = performed on demand · vulnerable = the sore spot · suggestive & mobilizing = what's wanted from others · ignoring & demonstrative = strong but not valued. Full definitions on each type page.

§2 IN PRACTICE

Where it clicks

  1. Smooth cooperation at working distance.
  2. Tactics transfer cleanly between you — tips actually work.
  3. Mutual professional respect comes cheap and holds.

Where it grinds

  1. Warmth stays scarce; the leading priorities never meet.
  2. The alliance lasts exactly as long as the shared task.
  3. Each finds the other's goals faintly beside the point.
§3 DO THE SCHOOLS AGREE HERE?

MODEL A Intertype relations are classical canon — this page is Model A ground. MODEL G keeps the frame but weights temperament and communication energy differently; where that changes a reading, we say so. Nothing here is invented to manufacture a disagreement. method →
