Where it clicks
- The INFp has been circling the application for six weeks. The ISTj's creative Se ends it in one evening — sit down, fill it in, sign it, send it. From anybody else that would be bullying. On the INFp's suggestive Se it lands as deliverance.
- When the INFp says where the office reorganization is really heading, the ISTj listens. The ISTj's mobilizing Ni trusts almost nobody's forecasts. This one gets filed under intelligence, not mood.
- Give the ISTj one evening of the INFp's creative Fe — jokes pitched exactly right — and the week's severity drains out of them. The suggestive slot gets something the chain of command at work never supplies.
- The lease, the tax form, the dispute with the clinic: the ISTj's base Ti reduces each one to three fixed points. The INFp's mobilizing Ti likes holding a small skeleton of certainty inside the fog.

- By nine the ISTj has Saturday fully sequenced. The INFp surfaces at noon, unconvinced the errands even exist. One of them executes the whole itinerary alone, annotating it with silence, and the drive home is quiet in the wrong way.
- When the plan itself fails — the apartment sells late, the promotion track closes — neither of them produces alternatives. The ISTj's vulnerable Ne treats brainstorming as noise, and the INFp waits for fate. They hold their position in a corridor that keeps narrowing.
