Where it clicks
- They define their terms once, and the definitions stick. What a mixed pair litigates for a year, two Ti leads settle in an evening — who pays for what, what counts as late, what a promise is.
- Silence in a car is a shared amenity. Neither reads quiet as trouble. Both use it to run private arguments through to completion, and they arrive having enjoyed the company.
- Their arguments follow rules. Whoever's premise falls concedes without drama, because both treat the framework, not the ego, as the thing on trial. Colleagues find this eerie. The two of them find it hygienic.
- Fe lives in the suggestive slot for each of them, so any warm third party gets jointly adopted. The cheerful friend of the house is maintained like infrastructure — invited by standing order, and privately credited by each with thawing the place.
- The division of labor is clean. The LII, an NT researcher, refines what the rule is; the LSI, an ST pragmatist, settles how it gets enforced. The bylaws of any club they share are never finished but always excellent.
Where it grinds
- When the LSI raises their voice to close a debate, the debate closes. That's creative Se landing on the LII's vulnerable spot. The LII spends the next week silently re-fighting the moment; the LSI reads the win as consensus.
- The LII hurts the LSI through a gentler-looking channel. A cheerful what if we also tried — creative Ne at work — reopens a plan the LSI had filed as settled. The LSI hears not a possibility but sabotage against the schedule.
- The room never gets warmed. With Fe in both suggestive slots and no supplier in the house, the household runs correct and cold. Both quietly wonder why visits from livelier friends feel like oxygen.
- Because they share the Ti axis, jurisdiction disputes are built in. The house contains two complete systems for loading the dishwasher, each internally flawless and irreconcilable with the other. The argument stays polite and never actually ends.
- Under pressure, they misread each other's needs. The LII wants the deadline crisis loosened with alternatives. The LSI wants it crushed with discipline. Each administers their own remedy to the other, doubling the injury with total confidence.
