SEE ↔ ESE MODEL A
Quasi-identity

The uncanny colleague. Same topics, incompatible methods. Everything about the other is familiar, and none of it is usable.

▸ New to socionics? The 90-second primer

Socionics builds types from eight information elements (Ne, Si, Ti, Fe…) placed into eight fixed slots — the slot decides how the element behaves in you.

The three-letter code (SEE) names the top two slots. It looks like an MBTI type; it doesn't convert cleanly — which is the kind of disagreement this site exists to measure.

Want the fuller version? The basics page covers elements, functions, quadras, and the two models.

§1 HOW THE STACKS COLLIDE — unique to this pair
elementin SEEin ESEwhat happens
Sebase (1)demonstrative (8)SEE leads; ESE matches it absently, without ceremony
Ficreative (2)ignoring (7)SEE applies with care what ESE shrugs off
Nerole (3)mobilizing (6)SEE strains to give what ESE wants more of
Tivulnerable (4)suggestive (5)ESE asks for the one thing SEE cannot give
Nisuggestive (5)vulnerable (4)SEE asks for the one thing ESE cannot give
Temobilizing (6)role (3)SEE's ambition meets ESE's obligation — awkward encouragement
Siignoring (7)creative (2)SEE dismisses what ESE does best
Fedemonstrative (8)base (1)SEE does absently what ESE is

slots, in one line: base & creative = native strengths · role = performed on demand · vulnerable = the sore spot · suggestive & mobilizing = what's wanted from others · ignoring & demonstrative = strong but not valued. Full definitions on each type page.

§2 IN PRACTICE

Where it clicks

  1. Endless material for conversation.
  2. Deceptively easy to begin — the vocabulary matches.
  3. Low conflict while stakes stay low.

Where it grinds

  1. Translation fatigue: same words, shifted meanings.
  2. Work can't be handed off between you; it must be redone.
  3. Each privately considers the other a worse version of themselves.
§3 DO THE SCHOOLS AGREE HERE?

MODEL A Intertype relations are classical canon — this page is Model A ground. MODEL G keeps the frame but weights temperament and communication energy differently; where that changes a reading, we say so. Nothing here is invented to manufacture a disagreement. method →
