§2 In practice
Where it clicks
- The LSE audits everything except affection. So the SEE's creative bond-reading pours straight into that suggestive Fi slot — which client is loyal, which relative is using them. The SEE states it flatly, and the LSE acts on it with relief.
- The LSE's method feeds the SEE's mobilizing Te, which wants exactly this. Margins, suppliers, the correct way to invoice — the SEE soaks it up. And the LSE in teaching mode is the LSE at their warmest.
- Gamma and delta both value Te with Fi. In practice that means results and loyalty, no theater. A handshake here means what the contract says it means, and both find that rare enough to keep.
- Pressure is a shared dialect, since the SEE's base Se plays to the LSE's demonstrative slot. They negotiate in tandem — the SEE works the man, the LSE works the terms — and the other side rarely notices the pincer.
- Two sensing types plan the same vacation: real beds, good restaurants, nothing improvised. The logistics divide themselves without discussion. The SEE charms the upgrade; the LSE confirms the booking twice.
Where it grinds
- Creative Si is the LSE's department, and it drops straight into the SEE's ignoring slot. Maintenance schedules, sensible bedtimes, the oil change — the SEE treats upkeep as a tax on living. The LSE services both cars and resents one of them.
- Ni belongs to nobody in this pair. The LSE's vulnerable slot dreads the far future. The SEE's suggestive slot wants somebody to read it, and nobody here can. Five-year questions get answered with this quarter's momentum.
- For the SEE, spending is conquest. For the delta LSE, it's stewardship. The SEE closes a deal and buys the whole table champagne; the LSE calculates what the gesture cost per guest — silently, twice.
- Only at the ledger does the admiration run teacher to student. Away from it, the LSE rates the SEE's improvising as recklessness that happens to keep working — and says so about once a year, at the worst possible moment.
- The SEE's Ti is vulnerable, so the LSE's occasional demand that things fit the official categories lands like an audit. The SEE has reasons but not definitions, goes charming instead, and the charm reads as evasion because it is.
