SEE and LSI: supervision (LSI supervises SEE)
SEE and LSI are not on level ground: LSI leads with the element SEE is weakest at, and presses on it without effort or intent. Supervision has a direction, so LSI and SEE live in the same relation differently — one feels watched, the other feels interested. The compatibility is asymmetric.

§2 In practice
Where it clicks
- Emergencies suit them both. Hand them a moving day, a burst pipe, or a price that needs arguing down, and two Se-strong types just execute. Nobody convenes a planning meeting, and the work is done by noon.
- The SEE's creative Fi manages territory where the LSI can only perform: which cousin is offended, who to call first, what tone to take. With that coaching, the LSI's stiff politeness passes inspection at every family table.
- The people are the SEE's contribution; the permits, the trailer hitch, and the checklist are the LSI's. The party actually happens at the stated hour. Each privately takes the credit, which is roughly fair.
- Neither wants feelings processed at length. Hurt gets handled through action instead: a meal cooked, an errand run, a fence repaired. Both consider the matter closed once the fence is.
- Timing advice goes down well on both sides, the SEE being suggestive in Ni and the LSI mobilizing it. When the LSI names the right moment to strike a deal, the SEE takes the cue without arguing. Coming from an SEE, that's rare.
Where it grinds
- Which rule are we following, yours from Tuesday or the new one, asks the LSI's base Ti. The SEE improvises a defense, and the LSI writes the inconsistency down. It gets read back later, with dates.
- When they collide, it's force against force at different ranks. The LSI's creative Se holds a line; the SEE's base Se occupies the whole field. Whether the fight is over driving speed or whose friends they're seeing tonight, neither type ships with a reverse gear.
- To the LSI, the SEE's charm reads as manipulation running without a license. To the SEE, the LSI's rule that affection follow stated procedure reads as a cage with paperwork attached. Each files their reading as final.
- The budget line for gifts and miscellaneous triples every quarter, because the SEE spends money to move people. The audit that follows is the same fight in new figures. By now both know the figures by heart.
- Under daily supervision, the SEE starts testing the rules for sport, and the LSI answers by codifying harder. Neither is weak enough to yield, which is exactly how the arrangement becomes permanent.
