SEE ↔ ILE MODEL A
Super-ego

Each other's guilty conscience. Your strengths land on the other's effortful, self-conscious slots, and theirs on yours: respect from a distance that curdles up close.

▸ New to socionics? The 90-second primer

Socionics builds types from eight information elements (Ne, Si, Ti, Fe…) placed into eight fixed slots — the slot decides how the element behaves in you.

The three-letter code (SEE) names the top two slots. It looks like an MBTI type; it doesn't convert cleanly — which is the kind of disagreement this site exists to measure.

Want the fuller version? The basics page covers elements, functions, quadras, and the two models.

Nisuggestive (5)ignoring (7)ILE has plenty and won't make a show of it — quiet supply
Temobilizing (6)demonstrative (8)ILE tops it up without being asked
Siignoring (7)suggestive (5)SEE could supply it, and declines to perform it
Fedemonstrative (8)mobilizing (6)SEE demonstrates; ILE takes notes

slots, in one line: base & creative = native strengths · role = performed on demand · vulnerable = the sore spot · suggestive & mobilizing = what's wanted from others · ignoring & demonstrative = strong but not valued. Full definitions on each type page.

§2 IN PRACTICE

Where it clicks

  1. Genuine admiration for the other's ease in your hard areas.
  2. At arm's length: complementary competence, useful in teams.
  3. Each models what the other can only perform.

Where it grinds

  1. Proximity feels like being graded.
  2. Help from the other arrives exactly where it embarrasses.
  3. Escalating politeness, rising internal cost.
§3 DO THE SCHOOLS AGREE HERE?

MODEL A Intertype relations are classical canon — this page is Model A ground. MODEL G keeps the frame but weights temperament and communication energy differently; where that changes a reading, we say so. Nothing here is invented to manufacture a disagreement. method →
