Where it clicks

- Their circle is small, old, and hand-picked, and neither of them apologizes for that. The ESI backgrounds Fe; the LSE only brings it out at work. Both rank performed enthusiasm somewhere between weather and a character flaw.
- Nobody negotiates the chores. The LSE engineers the systems, the ESI holds the standards — the ST and the SF splitting along the natural line. The house runs at an efficiency guests quietly attribute to money.
- When a boundary needs enforcing — a rude relative, a vendor padding invoices — either of them can do it. The ESI's creative Se strikes first, or the LSE's demonstrative Se does, and the other backs the move without discussion.
Where it grinds
- The LSE brings home prospects with mobilizing-Ne appetite: a franchise, a side market, a course. The ESI's vulnerable Ne hears gambling with the family's stability and rules on it flatly. The next idea gets shopped somewhere else first.
- This job will end badly, the ESI announces, never with a timeline attached. The LSE's vulnerable Ni can't metabolize fog and demands specifics the ESI's mobilizing Ni doesn't have. The warning becomes a fight about the warning.
- In a bad stretch, the ESI receives the LSE's process upgrade: better appliances, a streamlined routine, creative Si at work. The ESI's demonstrative Si needed no help there. What was wanted was the future named — a date, any date.
- An overloaded LSE gets the ESI's enforcement: the boss confronted, the freeloading cousin cut off. The LSE's demonstrative Se could have done both on any Tuesday. What the LSE wanted was options opened up — some mobilizing-Ne air in the room.
- The ESI's silences in the car carry verdicts — Fi entries posted in real time. The LSE can't read them and fills the air with logistics. The obliviousness gets logged too, under a heading the LSE will never see.
