Where it clicks
- The SLI receives the LII's creative possibilities gratefully, straight into the suggestive Ne slot. The SLI has run the workshop one way for a decade. The LII mentions one structural alternative, and by the weekend the bench is rebuilt and the SLI is pleased about it.
- The SLI produces the good chair, the sharpened knives, the correct tea, all without ceremony, and the LII's mobilizing Si soaks up every bit of it. The LII, who forgets meals while deriving something, gets maintained.
- A disagreement runs at conversational volume. Sometimes it's conducted entirely by leaving a better tool on the table. The Ne with Si axis is valued on both sides, across alpha and delta, so neither stages confrontations or demands displays.
- Ti runs deep on both sides, base for the LII and demonstrative for the SLI. The LII's frameworks get tested against the SLI's silent mechanical sense, and the ideas that survive that test are actually sound.
- They can sit in a car for four hours of silence and both stay content. Two introverts make no Fe demands on each other here: the SLI drives, the LII thinks, and the trip is jointly rated a success.
Where it grinds
- The LII files the SLI's creative Te in the ignoring slot: cost comparisons and efficiency fixes get heard as bookkeeping beneath the real question. The SLI eventually stops offering them, and the household budget records that faithfully.
- Se has no owner in this pair, and neither does Fe. When the landlord stalls or the contractor lies, the LII goes quiet, the SLI goes even quieter, and the matter gets outwaited, not won.
- The LII's base Ti meets an SLI who holds Ti as a demonstrative and never claims it. A long theoretical exposition earns a nod and a maybe. The person nodding worked out the practical version years ago and never bothered to write it down.
- No applause is coming, ever, because Fe sits in the SLI's vulnerable slot. The LII, whose suggestive slot quietly wants warmth, reads the toneless delivery as indifference. Two people wait years for an enthusiasm neither of them can start.
- The SLI absorbs the LII's ideas readily enough, but rates the LII's practical judgment politely low, so the admiration runs in one lane, student to teacher. It shows whenever the LII buys the wrong ladder.
