EIE and LII: semi-duality
EIE and LII get duality's opening without its follow-through. Semi-duality covers the lead functions exactly and leaves the support functions crossed, so help between LII and EIE arrives in the wrong shape at the worst moment. The compatibility is real, and it plateaus below what the first week promised.

Where it clicks
- After the speech, the LII names which of the EIE's three claims actually survives inspection. The EIE's suggestive Ti keeps that sentence for weeks and builds the next speech on it — never crediting the source.
- The EIE drags the LII to the gathering, names the LII's feelings out loud, and assigns them roles in the evening. The LII, who can't start an emotion but can receive one just fine, is suggestive-Fe grateful and says nothing.
- Dinner debates belong to them jointly. Both hold the Fe-Ti view that the argument and the atmosphere are one project. A raised voice over epistemology alarms neither, and nobody calls it a fight.
- The LII can offer a tenth alternative without wearing the EIE out. Demonstrative Ne lets the EIE follow every branch and add stage lighting. Their ideas conversations run past midnight and — unusual for both — actually land somewhere.
- Even the catastrophes come easily here. When the EIE forecasts one, the LII has usually priced it in already — demonstrative Ni meeting creative Ni without flinching. For the EIE, being believed without performing the prophecy twice is new.
Where it grinds
- Under deadline pressure, the EIE turns the volume up: raised voice, now-or-never framing, mobilizing Se hunting for momentum. The LII's vulnerable Se goes quiet and complies, then holds the incident for a week. The EIE reads the quiet as agreement.
- During a campaign, nobody owns dinner. The LII's mobilizing Si stretches as far as buying bread, and the EIE's vulnerable Si abandoned the body for the mission back on Monday. They get sick in the same week, competitively.
- An EIE in despair receives the LII's alternatives: other jobs, other cities, other framings. The EIE can generate those asleep with demonstrative Ne. The unspoken request was Ti-shaped — one clean verdict that the EIE was in the right.
- When trouble finds the LII, the EIE supplies meaning: this is a chapter, the arc bends, history will show. The LII's demonstrative Ni ran that projection days ago. What the LII wanted was cheerful noise nearby — nothing symbolic.
- Vacations split them along the quadra seam. The EIE plans significance: pilgrimage stops, meaning-heavy events, one confrontation with a relative. The LII wanted an unscheduled Si-Ne afternoon with a book and no witnesses. The blended itinerary has been tried twice and retired.
