EIE and SLE: activation
EIE and SLE lift each other on contact and tire each other out by Sunday. Activation puts each one's lead function on what the other is trying to grow, so SLE and EIE start fast and never settle into a rhythm. The compatibility is short-range: good for a trip, harder for a household.
Fun fast, tiring long. Each of you leads with what the other is trying to grow. Energizing on contact, exhausting over a long weekend. Your rhythms never quite sync.

§2 In practice
Where it clicks
- The EIE has been announcing the move for a month. The SLE's base Se gets it done in an afternoon. That push is what the EIE's mobilizing Se has been ordering all along and never getting from anyone else.
- After a win, the EIE narrates it into legend. The SLE's mobilizing Fe stands up straighter for a week afterward. Nobody else ever bothers to make the SLE's victories mean anything.
- There's exactly one source the SLE takes timing advice from. The EIE's creative Ni says strike Thursday, not today. The SLE's suggestive Ni accepts a wait it would have called cowardice from anybody else.
- When feelings turn into a mess, the SLE's creative Ti hands over three fixed points and the real shape of the argument. The EIE's suggestive Ti quotes that ruling for weeks afterward, as if it were doctrine.
- Stakes are the point for these two, both of them beta. A hostile meeting, a moving day, a public fight over something real — that's where they're at their most coordinated. Neither one apologizes for enjoying it.
Where it grinds
- During a campaign, nobody buys groceries. The EIE's vulnerable Si forgets the body exists, and the SLE ignores their own Si by choice. They both work through the flu until one of them folds, in a kitchen that tells the whole story.
- The EIE's base Fe runs at broadcast strength all day. The SLE's mobilizing Fe wanted a charge, not a residency. Around the third summit over dinner, the SLE starts eating standing up in the kitchen.
- The SLE's pressure doesn't switch off at the front door. It covers the route, the thermostat, the terms of the argument. The EIE's appetite for command is real but bounded, and being run like a subordinate was never the order.
- The EIE scripts the confrontation for Friday. An opening appears on Tuesday, so the SLE detonates it in the parking lot. That leaves the EIE standing there with an unused speech, robbed of the scene.
- A wound between just the two of them has nowhere to live. The EIE addresses audiences, not bonds. The SLE's vulnerable Fi doesn't see the injury at all, until it surfaces months later, mid-fight, still without a label.
