EIE and LIE: business
EIE and LIE solve with the same instrument for different ends. Business relations are the working-distance kind: tactics transfer cleanly between LIE and EIE, warmth does not. The compatibility is professional, and it lasts about as long as the shared task.

§2 In practice
Where it clicks
- Five-year plans count as normal dinner conversation here. Ni is the creative tool they share, so neither accuses the other of dreaming when a plan spans a decade. They argue about timing instead.
- Meals and bedtimes go unpoliced. Si is vulnerable on both sides, and working through dinner is a shared dialect. Each finds the other's disregard for comfort obscurely reassuring.
- A bold move gets applause from both chairs. With mobilizing Se on both sides, quitting the safe job or booking the one-way flight draws encouragement, not caution, from this particular colleague.
- On campaigns, fundraisers, and product launches, the division of labor is obvious. The EIE moves the rooms the LIE needs moved, and the LIE makes the EIE's cause solvent. Each will later bill the arrangement as their own design.
- Ambition never makes either of them flinch. When the LIE announces a second company or the EIE a national tour, the response is questions about route and timing — never whether the thing is realistic.
Where it grinds
- For about four minutes, the EIE can answer questions about the movement's conversion numbers. Te is role-slot work for them, and it shows. After that the metrics give way to meaning, and the LIE quietly starts auditing.
- The EIE needs conviction declared out loud, and the LIE's role Fe gets handed the job. The rally speech comes out like a line item — perfectly adequate. The EIE registers the adequacy as a betrayal of the material.
- The body keeps score for both of them. With two vulnerable Si stacks, the fridge holds condiments and ambition. Nobody notices the exhaustion until one of them is horizontal and the other is annoyed at the timing.
- The LIE would like one person's loyalty stated plainly — a suggestive Fi request. The EIE, ignoring Fi, offers magnificent public devotion to the shared cause instead. It isn't the same purchase.
- One consistent doctrine to stand on would satisfy the EIE's suggestive Ti. The LIE ignores Ti and swaps frameworks whenever the results say to. To the EIE, that looks like apostasy on a quarterly schedule.
