▸ New to socionics? The 90-second primer

Socionics builds types from eight information elements (Ne, Si, Ti, Fe…) placed into eight fixed slots — the slot decides how the element behaves in you.

The three-letter code (EII) names the top two slots. It looks like an MBTI type; it doesn't convert cleanly — which is the kind of disagreement this site exists to measure.

Want the fuller version? The basics page covers elements, functions, quadras, and the two models.

§1 HOW THE STACKS COLLIDE — unique to this pair
elementin EIIin ESIwhat happens
Fibase (1)base (1)both lead with it: shared language, shared blind spots
Necreative (2)vulnerable (4)EII's favorite tool presses ESI's bruise
Tirole (3)role (3)both perform here — polite, effortful, brittle
Sevulnerable (4)creative (2)ESI's favorite tool presses EII's bruise
Tesuggestive (5)suggestive (5)both waiting for someone else to bring it
Simobilizing (6)demonstrative (8)ESI tops it up without being asked
Feignoring (7)ignoring (7)both strong here; both bored by it
Nidemonstrative (8)mobilizing (6)EII demonstrates; ESI takes notes

slots, in one line: base & creative = native strengths · role = performed on demand · vulnerable = the sore spot · suggestive & mobilizing = what's wanted from others · ignoring & demonstrative = strong but not valued. Full definitions on each type page.

§2 IN PRACTICE

Where it clicks

  1. Effortless common ground on first contact.
  2. Instructive contrast: same evidence, two verdicts.
  3. Easy acquaintance — the entry ramp is shared.

Where it grinds

  1. The divergence reads as betrayal: you of all people should agree.
  2. Competition on the shared axis, where both are strong.
  3. The creative priorities are quietly opposed, and surface late.
§3 DO THE SCHOOLS AGREE HERE?

MODEL A Intertype relations are classical canon — this page is Model A ground. MODEL G keeps the frame but weights temperament and communication energy differently; where that changes a reading, we say so. Nothing here is invented to manufacture a disagreement. method →
